About Nagasaki Aircraft Industry Cluster Council
In Nagasaki Prefecture, companies with technologies such as metal processing that have been cultivated in the shipbuilding industry for many years are concentrated, and multiple companies are entering the aircraft-related industry by utilizing their knowledge.
The Nagasaki Prefecture Aircraft Industry Cluster Council was established in August 2018 in order to further develop the aircraft-related industry in Nagasaki Prefecture by utilizing the technologies of each company.
Currently, the council has more than 50 members, and through activities such as exhibitions and seminars, we are expanding the supply chain and further promoting the integrated production system.
Integrated production system in the prefecture
With Urano as the core company, we are building an integrated production system in the region centered on engines and airframe parts. Going forward, we will continue to strengthen the supply chain while providing technical support to individual companies, and establish a detailed response to needs and an advanced quality control system.
